About Eldeco Group

Founded in 1975 in Agra by Mr SK Garg, Eldeco Group was created to deliver excellent infrastructural designs. Between 1975 and 1984, Eldeco Group had taken up construction projects in Agra and other towns of UP (Uttar Pradesh). In 1985 Eldeco Housing and Industries Ltd (EHIL) got listed in the Bombay Stock Exchange. Developing a strong presence in UP, Eldeco Group undertook 300 acres of joint development with Lucknow Development Authority. In 1993 Mr O P Bajaj, a prominent businessman joined Mr S K Garg as a co-promoter. In 1996-1999, Eldeco group expanded their construction activities in Kanpur and Lucknow with big residential projects.

Mr Pankaj Bajaj formed a new company called Eldeco Infrastructure and Properties Limited (EIPL) which took a great interest in the NCR and other parts of North India. FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) also helped residential projects in Lucknow and Jalandhar and in 2008, Och-Ziff, a well known hedge fund group invested in the equity position in EIPL. They had also taken the task to deliver one of the largest industrial parks in PPP (Public Private Partnership) at Sitarganj, Uttarakhand. Eldeco Sidcul Industrial Park (ESIPL) was developed as a modern day industrial park equipped with the latest technologies. The hub will have four specialized zones – Residential zone, knowledge corridor, commercial zone and mixed-use zone. Apart from competitive prices, they also offer value added services for their clients. ESIPL is a joint venture between EIPL and SIDCUL (State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd) 

Earlier Eldeco Group has created commercial projects like Eldeco Krishna Tower and UP Stock Exchange at Kanpur. Muti-storeyed commercial complex named Sanjay Place in Agra and Eldeco Corporate Chambers and Eldeco Magnum Shopping Plaza at Gomati Nagar, Lucknow. In the NCR, Eldeco is offering commercial developments like Eldeco Arcadia at Greater Noida and Eldeco Station 1, Sector-12, Mathura Road, Faridabad. Eldeco Station 1 is a train themed mall with fine restaurants, retail spaces and entertainment zones. 

Eldeco Group also makes an active participation in corporate social responsibility. A Creche is run by Eldeco Group for the construction worker’s children where they are provided with elementary education and free meals. They also have a vocational center which imparts industrial-job oriented courses for school dropouts, unemployed rural youths and children of the economically backward segment.
